Donovan had pulled an all-nighter and hadn't slept a wink. He had just finished washing up and was about to get into bed when he heard a knock on the door.
At this hour, he was the only one in the dorm room.
His other roommates had gone to class.
Sleep-deprived and irritable, he yelled at the door, "Who is it? What's with all the knocking!"
"..."
The knocking stopped for a moment, then a timid voice came from the other side. "Hello, is... is Ethan Rhodes here?"
Donovan froze.
He took a minute to confirm he wasn't dreaming. This was a goddamn men's dorm!
Then he glanced at a bed not far away.
That was the bed of his nemesis, Ethan Rhodes.
Unlike everyone else's, Ethan Rhodes's bed was neat, showing no signs of life, because he rarely stayed here.
He'd previously assumed the guy rarely stayed in the dorm because he found it repulsive to live with a rival like him. But later, he heard that son of a bitch had a sister.
