At ten o'clock at night, Donovan's car slowly pulled into the underground garage.
The garage lights flickered on automatically. After the engine cut out, the halo of light pierced the windshield, illuminating the face of the sleeping figure in the passenger seat.
Donovan didn't get out right away. He took out his phone to reply to a message from his sister.
