Zoe Rhodes didn't need to turn around to know who was behind her.
She was surprised by her own sharp senses.
'It's not like I've known Nathan Bennett for that long...'
Her mind was a complete mess. For a moment, Zoe Rhodes had no idea what expression to put on to face the sly old fox behind her.
After thinking it over, she decided to just play dumb.
Slowly, she turned around. Although Zoe Rhodes had braced herself, she couldn't help but gulp when her eyes met the dark, deep ones behind Nathan Bennett's glasses.
'It wasn't because I was captivated by his good looks. I was just scared.'
"W-what a coincidence, hahahaha! Mr. Bennett, what are you doing here?"
Zoe Rhodes raised her hand and gave a small, tentative wave. The smile on her face was a bit stiff, looking forced and utterly miserable.
After a few chuckles, Zoe probably realized how stupid she sounded and asked, "Are you here for dinner?"
