Zoe Rhodes felt like something wasn't quite right…
After class, she pulled out her phone and sent Lulu a message: "Do you have an ex-boyfriend in Porten? Or do you have another boss besides me?"
Lulu replied quickly. "No. I only have one ex-boyfriend, and he's in Cresthaven."
Zoe Rhodes was confused.
'Then why did Donovan say he had two love rivals in Porten?'
Zoe Rhodes was completely baffled.
But on second thought, it made sense she couldn't understand. If she could follow a crazy person's logic, what would make her any different from one?
The next day was the weekend.
As per their prior agreement, Zoe Rhodes was supposed to spend every weekend at Zane Hawthorne's place.
Typically, Zane Hawthorne would pick her up from her dorm after her last class on Friday evening.
Kiara Sutton returned to the dorm, surprised to see her still there.
"Zoe, how come you haven't left yet? Didn't your brother come to pick you up?"
