Snapping out of it, Zoe Rhodes shook her head vigorously.
'No, no, something's definitely wrong here.'
'He couldn't possibly be calling just to ask me to marry him.'
'Right, Lulu!'
'Donovan Donovan has a girlfriend!'
'He said that was just part of his public image, but I don't believe him.'
'After all, he still hasn't broken up with Lulu. And just the other day, Lulu was saying that Donovan was going to take her home to meet his parents.'

Zoe Rhodes placed a hand on her chest, trying to slow her heart rate.
'I knew it. Who knows when this bombshell is going to drop?'
'It's always like this, catching me completely off guard.'
'My mind is already a bit slow...'
'Still, I never expected that the "law-breaking uncle" Kiara Sutton mentioned was actually Donovan Donovan!'
'If I wasn't sure that Kiara Sutton didn't know I knew Donovan, I'd almost suspect she was a "spy" he planted by my side.'
"Are you listening?"
