Joyce didn't notice anything odd about Silas. She threw on a jacket and got up to retrieve the gift. "Wentworth is pretty thoughtful. I wonder what nice thing he sent."
"With his personality, what kind of 'nice thing' could he possibly send?"
Among their friends, he had the wildest personality. He was handsome, a passionate playboy who had broken countless young women's hearts.
"Why are he and his wife getting a divorce? Don't tell me he cheated?" Joyce asked as she took the gift out of the bag and untied the ribbon on the box.
"He wouldn't cheat." On that point, Silas was certain.
"From what I recall, he had quite a few close female friends."
"He was a virgin before he got married."
"..."
Joyce's eyes widened in shock. She found it hard to believe.
'He always seemed like such a player, but he was actually so self-disciplined.'
