With that, the five elders charged the demonic decoy without another moment's hesitation.
Seeing the five elders arrive, the Thief Master immediately disengaged from the demonic creature, switched targets, and swung his sword toward Saint Envoy Tian.
A dark light pulsed from the deep purple longsword. A condensed, dark energy swirled around it like a hurricane. As the blade descended, this power coalesced into a black gleam of sword light, which grew larger as it flew, transforming into a colossal blade in the blink of an eye.
SWOOSH!
The sword light tore through the air. A dozen or so Root Cutting Sect masters tried to block it, but found the colossal blade was like an intangible phantom; it passed straight through them and struck Saint Envoy Tian.
Saint Envoy Tian, who was focusing all his power, had no time to dodge and was instantly cleaved in two by the black sword light!
