'And with the wolf cubs, no less!?'

Holly was on pins and needles, sitting among the pack of wolf cubs.
'This is the kind of lesson you give to wolf cubs!!'
'Why do I have to listen in!?'
Snowy, sitting beside Holly, noticed her distracted look. She poked Holly's arm and lowered her voice. "Holly, Holly, have you picked out your future partner yet?"
Holly's gaze faltered, and a blush crept up her chubby cheeks.
She snuck a glance at Silas before quickly shaking her head.
Snowy sighed like a grown-up. "You need to think about it early. It's really important. Take me, for example. I've already decided that Evie will be my partner. We're starting now, while we're young, to build our relationship."
