Yara Quillan turned her head to see if he was hurt, but found Henry Lester still holding her waist, refusing to let go.
She was about to get angry when she spotted a piece of glass embedded in his shoulder. It was stained with blood, and it looked like most of the shard had sunk into his flesh.
"Let me go! Your shoulder is injured!"
Yara Quillan cried out, prying Henry's hands off her and dragging him to a relatively safe spot.
"Henry, are you okay?" Yara Quillan stared at his shoulder, wanting to stanch the bleeding but not daring to pull out the shard of glass.
But Henry Lester was completely unfazed by the wound on his shoulder. On past missions, eighty percent of his injuries had been far more severe than this. It was just that Yara didn't know.
However, seeing Yara's worried expression, his initial thought was to say he was fine. But it seemed this little thing only let him get close, only paid him any mind, when he was hurt.
"Don't just stay silent! Is it serious?"
