Yara Quillan had been about to hang up the phone, but then she remembered what Sean Lowell had said last time. "Sean Lowell," she said into her phone, "since you already know, tell me right now—where is Aaron Axton!"
"I do know," he said. "But I remember you already rejected my offer last time. What, having second thoughts now?"
"Sean Lowell, don't go too far!"
"If you come to the plaza on Solara Road right now... I might just tell you."
"And I'm supposed to believe you?"
"Believe me or don't, it's up to you. After all, you're the one trying to get information out of me."
"You jerk!" Yara Quillan cursed, but all she heard was the hint of a smirk in Sean Lowell's voice. "If you don't want to come, fine. I'm sure you can find your friends on your own."
Yara Quillan desperately wanted to smash her phone, but she forced herself to hold back. Her voice was low and dangerous as she spoke. "Wait for me. If you dare pull any more tricks, you just wait and see!"
