Yara Quillan looked back at Sean Lowell, smiled, and waved her hand. "It's nothing."
Sean Lowell watched her departing figure but didn't chase after her. Yara had seemed a little off for the past two days, but the thought of his adoptive father forced him to maintain a certain distance from her.
After leaving, Yara Quillan planned to take a taxi to the airport and catch whatever flight was available. But unexpectedly, just as she arrived, she was blocked by several military vehicles.
"Miss Crowe? Please come with us." A man in a military uniform gestured for her to follow.
Yara Quillan smiled faintly. "I don't see any reason why I should go with you."
"We're just doing our duty. We hope Miss Crowe won't make things difficult for us."
"I have no intention of making things difficult for you. But you... you're soldiers, stopping someone inside an airport like this. If I were to report you, what do you think would happen?"
"Miss Crowe..."
