To Sharon Grant, Sean Lowell's reaction was a devastating blow. She knew that woman, Yara Quillan, would resort to dirty tricks, but she never expected Sean to actually side with her.
She suddenly shot Yara Quillan a venomous smile. "Do you really not care about my brother anymore? He's in the hospital right now, hovering between life and death because he was looking for you. I can't believe a woman like you could be so heartless, standing here and saying these things as if nothing's wrong."
It wasn't that Yara Quillan hadn't heard Sharon Grant mention Henry Lester's injury. It was just that almost every time they argued, Henry would use this same trick to win her sympathy.
Unfortunately, there was no longer any need for that.
Yara Quillan shifted her gaze to Sharon Grant, the corners of her mouth lifting into a faint smile. "I've already said it. Your brother's affairs have nothing to do with me. Whatever you want to say, whatever point you want to make, it's irrelevant to me."
