Yara Quillan knew that her kidnapper had wanted her to give up on Henry Lester completely. She didn't know his reasons, but she knew he had succeeded.

Now, she had even forgotten how to hate.

"Darling." Henry Lester gazed at the dazed figure on the bed, his voice hoarse as he called out to her, but he received no response.
Henry Lester knew Yara Quillan cared for him. He could even sense her by his side while he was unconscious. He had thought that when he woke up, she would at least be happy.
But Yara Quillan's current reaction made his heart sink.
"Yara, haven't you been hoping for Henry to wake up?" Owen Morgan said, attempting to mediate when he saw the two had fallen into a stalemate again.
