On the third day of her blindness, Owen Morgan brought over a top international ophthalmologist, but it had no effect whatsoever.
Owen Morgan finally couldn't hold back any longer. "Yara, are you just throwing a tantrum? Do you have any idea what Henry has done for you…?"
Before Owen Morgan could finish, he was interrupted by Yara Quillan's cold laugh. As if speaking to him, yet also to herself, she said, "Of course, I know. How could I not know?"
"Yara…"
"If there's nothing else, I'd like to be alone for a while." Yara Quillan was being very obedient now. She didn't ask to go out, nor did she do anything to harm anyone. She didn't even show any sign of trying to escape.
Owen Morgan was helpless. Between Henry Lester and Yara Quillan, he was indeed on Henry's side. After all, they had been brothers for so many years, and he knew just how much Henry cared about Yara.
He just felt that Yara Quillan was being too unreasonable, but he had no idea how deep her pain truly ran.
