Glancing at Zachary Fairchild's handsome face, Olivia Wynne lowered her head and calmly ate her food.
Zachary Fairchild stared at Olivia Wynne with his deep, dark eyes, watching her eat. He spoke slowly, "Aren't you going to thank me?"
The food was still in her mouth when she heard Zachary Fairchild's question. Olivia Wynne looked up slightly.
"I have hands."
'I can serve myself. I don't need you to do it for me.'
Zachary Fairchild could tell what she was thinking from her expression. He rested his fork on his plate and said softly, "Eating all by yourself... don't you feel it's a little lonely?"
"I haven't," Olivia Wynne replied quickly.
Zachary Fairchild's expression remained unchanged. "Well, I do," he said.
Olivia Wynne just wanted to eat in peace. But as she watched Zachary Fairchild lean back in his chair, his expression calm as he stared at her with a profound look, she had a feeling it would be very difficult to finish this meal quietly.
