Henry Sterling, unaware that the two people across from him were plotting to kidnap his "son," propped his chin on his hand. A smile played on his lips as his gaze swept over the faint red mark peeking out from under Preston Keaton's shirt collar, and he raised an eyebrow.
'How absurd.'
For a man as prim and proper as Preston Keaton to let her kiss him in such an obvious spot—and then not even bother to cover it up... If his parents back at Clearwater Bay saw it, they'd probably faint on the spot.
He curled his lips into a smile. Suddenly, he felt that having Evelyn Grant by Preston's side wasn't so bad after all.
At the very least, Preston Keaton might finally break free from the shackles binding him and stop being so rigorously self-disciplined.
"What are you two whispering about? Get over here and eat before you starve to death."
Evelyn Grant was indeed getting hungry, so she obediently sat down beside Preston Keaton and began to eat.
