As the master of this space, she could clearly sense the position and condition of every single item. The feeling of being in complete control sent a thrill through her.
The first thing to enter her perception was a wave of enticing aromas. Thousands of tables laden with steaming-hot banquet dishes were arranged in neat rows. Braised pork knuckle glistened with oil, and the delicate scent of steamed fish lingered in the air. Even the sauces were still as warm as when they were first served.
Beside them were mountains of fresh pork, beef, and mutton. The marbling of fat and muscle was clearly visible, and the blood hadn't even had time to congeal.
