Caelis wanted to enter the Illusion Realm immediately, but if he entered one at random, not only would he fail to find his wife, but he might also become trapped within the illusion himself. Even so, he refused to give up. In the end, he searched for clues by pulling every book related to Illusion Realms from his personal library.
Edgar and the other servants took turns carrying countless books into the room where Selene lay. They also returned the books Caelis had already finished reading and kept everything organized for him.
Every now and then, Caelis would gently wash his wife's face and hands. He also made sure the room remained warm so that Selene would never feel cold.
From morning until night, Caelis read without eating or sleeping. After each successive training session, Claude would come and sit beside him, helping him search through the books.
