After a few hours…
The sun hung high above Rome, casting brilliant light upon the Land. On the highway to Venice, Dante whistled a melody while the same song blasted through the speakers. Missio slumped in his chair – deep into his sleep. Suddenly, Dante remembered the date. A cruel smile couldn't help but make itself onto his face as he glanced at Missio. He held his phone and tapped on a video with a crash sound. He paused it on the panel as he put his phone down.
He drew a sharp breath. He played the crashing sound and gripped the wheel. The next second, he braked slightly and screamed with all his might.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
Missio jolted awake with a terrified expression. He gripped his chair, convulsing in his seat as he screamed as well. His Breaker senses made the screams feel as if he a speaker was blasting music right next to his ear.
"AHHHHHHHHH!!!"
Dante couldn't help but burst into laughter. The sound stopped playing as Missio's eyes widened. He clutched his chest and looked at his brother with wide eyes. Dante tilted his head, locking eyes with Missio.
"April fools~"
An unfathomable rage erupted in Missio. He grabbed the katana he previously created and held it to Dante's head.
"Hey – Hey – Hey, come on. It's April fools. I had to." Dante panicked.
"I will skin you alive IF you do that shit again." Missio stated in a dark voice.
"Please, don't. I'm just about to get married."
Missio lowered the blade and rested it beside his seat. He crossed his arms as the clock struck twelve. Dante chuckled lightly for some time before regaining his composure. He locked onto the road, noticing a charging station nearby on the map. He gazed at the charge.
'40 percent…Let's recharge…'
He spun the wheel, exiting the highway. He went down the slope and drove towards the charging station and parked in one of the spots and stepped outside. Missio did as well. Dante plugged in the charger. A blue ring glowed around the port as he stepped back. He looked at his brother.
"You hungry? You can grab something from the station."
Missio locked eyes with him.
"Really?"
"Yeah." Dante replied.
Missio shrugged and headed towards the station. The doors slid open as he stepped inside. He strolled around the shelves. After a few minutes, he picked up a few snacks and headed towards the counter. The cashier glanced at the items and scanned them individually. After, he bagged his items and placed the QR of the station in front of Missio. Missio drew his phone and scanned it.
"How much is it?" he asked.
"A hundred Aureus." The cashier replied, leaning on the counter.
Missio nodded, entering the money. He typed in his pin and proceeded with the transaction. He showed it to the cashier who nodded. Missio took his snacks and headed outside. He noticed his brother unplugging the RV and sped up. Both entered the vehicle. Missio placed the bag in the middle as Dante reversed out. They headed towards the highway once again. The patriarch swerved into the highway.
"Now, straight to Venice." He stated.

A few hours later…
Dusk soon came. The sun dipped past the horizon and the moon rose from the other side like its shadow. Dante yawned as they exited the end of the highway approached. Missio lifted his head. His eyes widened in surprise. They entered a city which glowed with brilliant light. He looked out the window, seeing the canals in the distance – the historical city center staring back at him.
Dante spun the wheel, swiveling around a corner. After a few minutes, they passed the checkpoint and parked in the designated RV parking. He backed it against a tree and deactivated the vehicle. The awning unfolded and lights blazed as the brothers exited.
"Get off." Dante stood.
"Alright." Missio replied.
Both stepped off one after another. Dante stretched his arms and smiled.
"We're finally here…"
He slumped and touched his back.
"But my back is killing me."
Missio tapped his headphones, putting them into full transparency.
"What now?"
Dante glanced at his brother.
"Dinner?"
"If Dinner then, let's get it somewhere else. We've run out of food." Missio stated.
"Gotcha ya." Dante straightened.
He tucked his hands into his pockets and locked the RV using his glasses. The RV locked itself as the two brothers headed out for dinner.

The royal siblings stepped into the city center. Passing the canals filled with water, their gazes stayed on the beauty of the architecture. Like Piazza Delle Erbe, the craving in the walls seemed like an echo of the past – Reminding the Romans of what they had lost. Missio gazed the canal. Several boats floated upon the body of water, drifting through it like lost souls. It brought a sense of calm that he hadn't felt before.
He looked at the Lanterns.
"Why are they using lanterns?" Missio asked his brother.
"Recreation." Dante replied. "It's a historical sight after all."
"Can we go boating?" Missio tilted his head.
"No. Tomorrow." Dante replied.
Missio straightened and continued to admire the architecture. Eventually, they sat down at a brightly lit café near the canal. A waiter approached them and handed them two menus. He placed two cups down and poured water into them. Then, he left in an elegant fashion, impressing Dante.
Dante and Missio scrolled through the menu for a few minutes. The waiter came back with a notepad.
"May I have your order?" he tapped the pen against the paper.
"Yeah." Dante turned towards him. "Give a… Cicchetti, Sarde in Saor and… a hot cup of milk."
The waiter nodded, curling his lip. He noted the King's meal and gazed at his little brother next.
"Your order, sir?"
"Yes. I'll have a… Bigoli in Salsa and Mozzarella in Carrozza with a cup of lemon tea."
The waiter took his order. He spun around and headed into the restaurant.
"Tea? This late?" Dante raised a brow.
"Yeah… I've gotten addicted." Missio stuck his tongue out, scratching his head.
Dante chuckled, smiling at his brother's improved self-esteem. Missio smiled solemnly, looking towards the reflection of the moon in the water. A sense of calmness washed over him as the flow of the water rung in his ear with the grazing of the wind.
