Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1: Hatchling, But Make It BrokenCrack.

My name was Haruto Takahashi.

Twenty-seven years old. Corporate slave. Tokyo salaryman who hadn't seen sunlight in three weeks.

The last thing I remembered was the fluorescent lights of the office blurring into a tunnel of white as my heart gave out from the third all-nighter in a row.

In that final second, while my face was kissing the keyboard, I made a single, stupid wish:

"If I'm going to die, at least let me be something that can burn the entire world down and not have to file a TPS report about it."

Darkness swallowed me.

Then came the voice.

[World System Initializing…]

[Host soul detected. Reincarnation protocol engaged.]

[Race selection: Random Dragon Lineage – Activated.]

[Unique Trait Acquired: Infinite Attribute System]

[Welcome to Aetheria, new Dragon.]

A single thought floated through the void before everything went black again.

…Infinite?

Hell yes.

The sound of my own eggshell breaking was way too loud.

I tried to open my eyes and immediately regretted it. Everything was too bright, too sharp, too much. My body felt… wrong. Heavy. Long. Scaly.

I lifted my head—except it wasn't a head. It was a snout. With teeth. Lots of teeth.

A tiny, squeaky roar escaped my throat.

"Rawr."

…Kill me again.

I looked down. Four stubby legs. Claws the size of steak knives. A tail that was currently smacking the inside of what used to be my egg. Shiny obsidian-black scales that reflected the dim light of the cave like polished armor.

A blue holographic window popped into existence right in front of my face.

[Name: — ]

[Race: Void Dragon Hatchling (Mythic)]

[Level: 1]

[Attribute Points: ∞ (Infinite)]

[Current Attributes]

Strength: 12

Agility: 9

Vitality: 15

Mana: 50

Magic Power: 42

Luck: 7

[Infinite Attribute System Online]

You may freely allocate any number of points to any attribute at any time. No daily limit. No level cap. No mercy.

I stared at the window so hard I almost went cross-eyed.

Infinite.

Not "a lot." Not "generous starting bonus."

Infinite.

A deranged laugh bubbled up from my dragon chest. It came out as a tiny puff of black smoke that smelled like ozone and victory.

"Okay, System. Let's break reality before breakfast."

I dumped every single point I could imagine into Magic Power and Mana.

The numbers didn't just go up. They exploded.

[Magic Power: 42 → 999,999,999]

[Mana: 50 → ∞]

[New Title Acquired: Walking Catastrophe]

[Skill Unlocked: Mana Overflow (Passive)]

[Skill Unlocked: Dragon Breath – Voidflame (Mythic)]

The cave trembled. Cracks spiderwebbed across the stone walls as raw mana poured out of my tiny body like a broken dam.

A status message flashed in blood-red letters.

[Warning: Mana density in area exceeding safe thresholds. Local ecology may experience spontaneous combustion.]

I grinned with a mouth full of fangs.

Good.

I waddled out of the shattered eggshell on shaky legs and looked around. The cave was massive—stalactites the size of skyscrapers, glowing blue crystals pulsing like heartbeats, and in the distance, the faint sound of… something big breathing.

Probably mama dragon.

Or lunch.

Either way, I had infinite stats and zero chill.

I opened my mouth and tested the new skill.

A thin stream of pitch-black flame shot out and turned a boulder the size of a truck into glittering dust in 0.3 seconds.

I stared at the smoking crater.

Then at my stubby little claws.

Then back at the crater.

"Bro… I'm going to need a bigger cave."

[Quest Generated: Survive Your First Day As The Most Broken Hatchling In History]

Reward: +1,000,000 Attribute Points (you were going to get those anyway), Random Legendary Skill Ticket

I cackled. It still came out as a squeak.

This was going to be fun.
