/POP Lyly/
The girl's room was a mess, filled with crumpled pages written in ancient runic language in every nook and cranny, yet it didn't have the slightest odor. In fact, it even had a faint fragrance. A gentle, sweet scent permeated the air.
Lyly slowly opened her purple eyes, smiling from ear to ear as she remembered her old times with Sana. They were the most beautiful memories she had.
Then she stood up from her bed. Her blue hair slowly moved back and forth with her movements. Right now, she was wearing deep blue pajamas.
Her eyes then saw the clear window. Some birds had started singing as a new day came again, and the papery rustle of leaves skittered somewhere outside.
For normal people, a new day was just another day of suffering. But for her—
Lyly said in a soft voice, "The courageous choices you make today will light a new flame, a glittering star in the darkness," while standing at the window, looking at the outside world.
For Lyly, each new day meant she could see her love, or maybe still have a chance to save him from that peculiar Alice.
Her face turned dark and cloudy when her thoughts came to Alice.
But she distracted herself by looking at her mirror. It reflected her soft skin and breathtaking beauty; she looked very attractive to men, but the word "beautiful" was woefully inadequate to capture her allure.
She smiled at her reflection and talked to herself in a happy voice, acting like a flirtatious and very charming girl.
She giggled. "How can he resist my appearance like this?"
She had been trying hard, doing everything she could to make herself more beautiful and attractive like a human in this world.
"He never even looks at me," her voice became disappointed, then turned determined as she tightened her grip. "But I need patience. When the right time comes, he will naturally fall for me."
Suddenly, her eyes lit up. An interesting idea came to her mind, and her face showed curiosity.
"What happens if I create a dream world? In this world, I mean... like becoming some kind of Dream God."
"People will fall into that dream, and then they won't want to escape from my beautiful dream world."
A crazy thought crossed her mind, but she hesitated, her voice trembling. "If I... make him see me like that peculiar evil..."
She shook her head.
"No, I need to concentrate on my love."
And then she started her routine with runes...
Lyly was on her way to school. It seemed like a normal, peaceful day, but then some boys came near her.
A boy with lustful eyes said, "Hey Lyly, do you want to go out with me after school? I have a lot of interesting and fun things planned."
Lyly ignored him, her uncaring eyes looking around, not even making those children feel noticed.
Another boy with calm eyes said, "Lyly, I have something I want to ask you after school."
But Lata came to save her.
A pink-haired girl with clear blue eyes came toward them. She looked angry at the boys who were troubling her friend.
Lata said, "She already has a date with me."
The boys looked reluctant.
Lyly smiled at Lata. "Yes, sorry you guys. Lata is my top priority more than anything. I really don't have the mind to date a guy," while pretending to blush.
The boys were in shock. One boy shouted emotionally, "Sugar! Sugar! This can't be real! Are my ears broken?"
They had thought those rumors about Lyly were just lies. They only wanted to test her.
From now on, they were sure Lyly had feelings for Lata.
...
After that, Lata and Lyly saw a lovely couple holding hands together, standing closer than normal.
Alice wrapped her arm around Sana's right arm, her chest pressing against his arm.
[The devil… but I need to calm myself. This time will pass soon. The perfect time is still waiting for me ahead. I can't lose my mind now.]
Lyly wrapped her arm around Lata.
Lata was shocked by her action, but when she saw Sana, her face turned dark and she understood why Lyly did that.
She believed Lyly was trying to make her feel comfortable.
Sana didn't see them because his mind was only on Alice.
He had been trapped in her world.
Lyly looked into his eyes. Her heart hurt a little, even though she had prepared herself for it.
But when she saw Sana's smile, it brought back many bad memories for her.
[I swear I'll save you. No matter how long it takes, I can't keep seeing you like this. I'm not the type whose love becomes obsession. I just want him to live happily without suffering because of that girl.]
But suddenly, something even more dangerous caught her eye.
It was Sana God.
He appeared in the distance and giggled crazily.
"I know your weakness now."
Lyly showed an aloof face.
