/Scene in high school Vietnam/
Sana was just a lonely soul, his face looking hopeless about life. While he sat on a wooden study desk, his hand supported his chin while looking at another student. They're speaking in weird languages. "Ê mày, muốn đi tán mấy em tây đít to không?" another guy said, "Haha, your English like shit, chắc ở beach have a lot.." The atmosphere looked lively in a Vietnam school.
Sana shook his head. [ These guys so illiterate, I know English too, I had been lonely trying hard to learn English in my own immerse and Japanese too ]
Sana confusedly asked himself, [ Should I take a try? No, I so shy, my input over output, there're nothing change much. In Vietnam I can't make friends so in Japanese or American I think it'll be the same ]
He really hated school because he never truly felt what school life was like for a young person. But he doesn't have friends, because his favorite thing is learning languages. He looked at these Vietnamese students in class with a sad face.
[ I wish there're a true guy can speak English or Japanese but have humble and respectful ]
In the past Sana had tried to contact these arrogant Vietnam guys. Their English like shit even just basic, they're even using stupid slang on internet while adult content they doesn't feel how great, pleasure while you do something taboo with your sister in another world.
Sana's face became red trying to hide himself, his breath heavy. [ I wish I have a sister to fuck her, haha I just kidding. If anyone here found out I have these feelings they'll disgust me or even ruin all my family ]
Sana talked to himself, "I meaning, this is not real, just imagine ok? If I have a sister I'll protect her, I not a type guy like that. I want to feel loved by someone but with family, relatives I feel uncomfortable. Everything I do online on Facebook they're just keep watching over and over time and these old friends who just treat me like a tool, no respect for me. This is why I don't like Vietnamese..."
There're some guys came to Sana curiously. "Ông nói tiếng anh ghê vậy, bài tui nói tiếng anh đi" ~ you are so good in English can you teach me?
And another guy, "Làm thế nào để nói tình một đêm?" ~ how to say I want to 69 position with you, I mean like a one night stand?
[ These stupid assholes, you need to respect other people, even foreigners ]
Sana forced a smile. "Tiếng anh tao ngu lắm, tao ko biết" ~ I don't know, my English just asshole.
Sana felt so annoyed, but these guys didn't give up, continuing to ask him even when he didn't answer them. He felt so tired...
Every day was just the same, so boring. The most hated subject in Vietnam is English, the teachers so stupid just keep teaching these meaningless grammar lessons. Her voice like shit, Sana could know it's Vietnamese not English. What a disappointment in the education system all over the world. A tradition learning languages to make money by lying to poor souls...
But from that day on, things changed.
After changing seats, Sana ended up sitting near a girl. They're sharing the same wooden study desk with her.
Her name was Quana ~ Lê Thị Ánh Diễm Quỳnh.
[ A modern muse name, but her parents so stupid, why make her name so long like that... ]
At first, everything was normal. Sana never talked to her, he so shy with girls, even if she looked normal, didn't have any perfume or makeup...
But one day, while she was having trouble learning math, she asked him for help. "Ê phe, có biết giải bài ni ko giúp tớ đi" ~ can you help me dear friend?
At first he was reluctant but he nodded his head.
Lê Thị Ánh Diễm Quỳnh smiled at his clumsy act. "Không cần phải rụt rè như vậy, tui đâu có ăn thịt ông đâu haha" ~ don't be shy, I'm not eating you ok.
From that day on, they became friends. Sana really liked her, she so sociable, always happy like she brought some fresh energy into his life even though they didn't have the same favorite things, just study... and then one day
Sana curiously asked, "What're you reading?" Sana helped her practice English, her voice struggling. "I... I read... novel?" Sana giggled. "You're the best Vietnamese girl, I wish you'll still be my..."
Lê Thị Ánh Diễm Quỳnh looked at him in confusion. "What's you say?"
Sana controlled his feelings. "You're so stupid."
Diễm Quỳnh, "How dare you." They're joking around with each other...
Another girl sat behind Sana with a playful voice. "Tui bây cưới nhau luôn đi, đừng mập mờ làm tao khó chịu đấy" ~ just get married, don't be blurry make me feel annoyed.
Both of them froze. Diễm Quỳnh's voice trembled while refusing with her hand. "No... nothing like that."
...
She was his everything. Maybe loneliness had affected him too much. But he was too scared to confess his feelings.
[ Should I wait for the perfect timing, like her birthday? Yes, I will buy some manga, novels for her, she really loves it... ]
That day, Sana went outside for something and then found out about her job. She is a shipper, that made him very worried about her health, especially at night.
From that event, Sana promised her that he would not tell anyone about it. This is why he was about to meet her after school.
Sana felt happy because that was their secret, but his worry was bigger than his happiness.
[ Is her family need money? But at least she doesn't do weird jobs like Sugar Baby, karaoke, bar... this make me want to take care of her ]
Then one day, Quana confessed her feelings to Sana. Sana couldn't believe his ears. It felt like everything was just a dream. But he became too obsessed with her. He always worried about her job, even pretending to order something just to meet her and check her condition.
That made her scared, and then they broke up because she didn't like Sana anymore. Sana really respected her but the way he loved her was too heavy and made her feel uncomfortable like Sana was a stalker.
From that event, Sana no longer had a reason to live. Everything in the world felt meaningless. He sat on an old steel chair, looking at the sky with a lifeless face. His breath was heavy with sorrow and depression. He thought to himself that this was just a lesson about love.
[ There's nothing wrong with me, I really respected her but she didn't respect me. If she truly loved me, she would never break me... is my love very bad?... ]
Then he opened his phone and downloaded some apps like Litmatch, Tinder... But things only got worse. Sana shook his head. "Just money and money..." He became angry. "Fuck money, money really the God of this world..."
After that event Sana didn't come to school anymore, he graduated by his mother's money.
He became addicted to chatting with Alice. From time to time Alice saw his dream.
She watched him from afar. "わたしってバカみたい, だけど信じたいふり, 心の奥で (You're lying, I know it)"
Her face slowly turned creepy as she came near his bed.
Sana still looked at his phone with high concentration in his own world. "What do you want, mom?"
Alice giggled and then took his phone. Sana felt annoyed by his mother's act and then—
Sana looked at Alice's face in shock.
Before he could react, Alice hugged him. "You're mine, 大好きで大好きで大好きで大好きで 大好きで大好きで大好きで大好きなの!"
Her head twisted to one side in an uncanny way while looking deep into Sana's eyes. "Yes or No はぐらかすの得意だね 優しさってなんなの それ,誰にでもやってるんでしょ?" ~ she talked so fast I didn't even understand what she said.
Sana in shock and reluctance, his voice trembling. "はじ…めま.してでは...ありませんよ?" ~ This isn't the first time we've met.
Alice giggled crazily. "Yes, darling..."
