Synopsis
When the System integrated Earth, it didn’t come with mercy only levels, monsters, and one rule: Adapt or die. Jack Harlan was an ordinary warehouse grunt who spent his nights grinding MMOs. On Integration Day everything changed. While the world burned, Jack discovered he wasn’t like the others. He received the ultra rare hidden class System Breaker the ability to bend, glitch, and eventually break the System’s own rules. From his first goblin kill in a collapsing warehouse to building the first safe zone in the ruins of Chicago, Jack’s journey is pure progression fantasy: stats, skills, dungeons, betrayals, and a cosmic secret that could destroy (or save) the entire planet. The System isn’t a game. It’s a test. And Jack just broke the first rule.

Chapter 1 - Blue Screen of Death… or Life?

Jack Harlan slammed the last cardboard box onto the pallet and wiped sweat from his forehead. The warehouse air smelled like dust, diesel, and broken dreams. Another twelve hour shift. Another day closer to nothing.

At twenty eight he was built like someone who actually worked for a living six-foot one, broad shoulders, calloused hands but his real life happened after the shift ended. Headset on, lights off, grinding raids in Eternal Realms. In games he was somebody. Here? Just another guy with a name tag.

The fluorescent lights flickered once. Twice. Then died completely.

A perfect, genderless voice spoke directly into every human mind on the planet at the exact same moment.

"Planetary Integration commencing. The System has arrived."

Jack blinked. A translucent blue rectangle materialized two feet in front of his face, glowing softly like a video-game HUD.

Integration Phase 1 – Tutorial

All sapient life on Planet 7-Alpha (Earth) now has access to the System.

Mana density: Rising.

Monsters will spawn in T-minus 4 minutes 59 seconds.

Good luck.

The warehouse went dead silent for half a second.

Then the screaming started outside.

Jack's heart hammered against his ribs. This wasn't a prank. The blue box didn't flicker when he waved his hand through it. A second, smaller window popped up, personal this time.

Jack laughed once, a sharp, nervous bark. "You've got to be kidding me."

He sprinted to the tool wall, grabbed the longest crowbar he could find, and tested the weight. Heavy. Solid. Real.

Outside the loading bay doors, the city had already gone mad. Cars crashed. People ran. And from shimmering green rifts in the air, small green humanoids poured out goblins, straight out of every game he'd ever played. Crude spears, jagged knives, red eyes glowing with hunger.

One of them leaped onto his coworker Mike and buried a knife in the man's throat before Jack could even shout.

Rage and terror mixed into something cold and clear in Jack's chest.

He charged.

The goblin turned, hissed, and lunged.

Jack swung the crowbar like a baseball bat. Metal met skull with a wet crack. The creature flew sideways and hit the concrete hard.

Jack didn't have time to celebrate. Two more goblins scrambled through the rift, eyes locked on him.

He grinned, teeth bared. "Come on then."

The fight was brutal and short. He took a shallow cut across his forearm, but the second swing caved in another skull. The third goblin tried to flee Jack chased it down and finished it with a downward strike that actually made the crowbar spark with faint blue light.

Jack leaned against a forklift, breathing hard, blood dripping from his arm. The pain was real burning, sharp but the notifications kept coming like dopamine hits.

He opened his status again. The numbers had shifted. Strength 15, Agility 12, Vitality 14… everything felt tighter, faster, stronger.

Then a new golden-bordered box appeared, shimmering with power.

[Hidden Condition Met: First Kill with Improvised Weapon during Tutorial + Maximum Creativity Score]

[Rare Class Selection available – 1 choice only]

Three options floated in front of him. Two were normal.

Warrior – Solid tank class.

Rogue – Stealth and daggers.

The third one pulsed blood-red and black, almost angry.

System Breaker (Ultra-Rare – Unique)

You see the code beneath the world. You can break the rules the System never meant anyone to touch. Growth potential: Unlimited. Warning: The System will notice.

Jack stared at it for two full seconds.

Then he chose without hesitation.

The golden box shattered into black and crimson sparks that sank into his chest like burning needles. Power raw, chaotic, alive flooded every cell.

[Class Acquired: System Breaker – Level 1]

[Innate Ability unlocked: Rule Fracture (1/day) Once per day you may break one minor System rule. Cooldown resets at midnight.]

[Title earned: The First Breaker]

All stats +3. Luck +5.

A new rift tore open ten feet away. A bigger goblin Level 5, armored stepped through, snarling.

Jack lifted the crowbar. It now glowed faintly with the same crimson black energy as his new class.

He smiled, wide and dangerous.

"Round two."

Jack Harlan stood in the blood-splattered loading bay of Harlan Logistics, his chest heaving. The crowbar in his right hand still hummed with faint crimson energy, the same color that had sunk into his chest when he accepted the System Breaker class. Three goblin corpses lay twisted on the concrete floor, their greenish blood already soaking into the cracks.

His arm burned where the third goblin had slashed him. Not a game wound real, hot pain that made his teeth clench. But the notifications kept coming, sweet and addictive.

[You have slain a Level 3 Goblin Scout!]

Experience gained: 70

Total Experience: 215 / 300 to next level

[Basic Melee Mastery (Novice) – Level 1 → Level 2]

Damage with blunt weapons increased by 8%. Swing speed +3%.

Jack flexed his fingers. The cut on his forearm had already stopped bleeding. His vitality stat must be doing something. He pulled up his full status again, the blue box hovering obediently.

The System's voice echoed in his head once more, calm and indifferent.

"Tutorial Phase continues. Monsters will continue spawning until the first hour ends. Adapt. Survive."
