We all get one life.
Childhood, innocent, fragile, full of wonder.
Teenage years, wild, messy, full of firsts.
Some spend them running around with friends or chasing real-world adventures.
Others escape into all kinds of magical worlds at home through games, manga, and anime.
But in the end, we all grow up. We become adults.
Then the "real" life begins, as people call it.
A 9-to-5 job.
Bills.
The constant pressure to succeed, to build something, to leave a mark.
Some pour everything into their career.
Others focus on relationships, marriage, kids, a family of their own.
Everyone's chasing their own version of a dream.
I've lived my version too.
I grew up loving manga, anime, and games, enough that some people would call me something worse than just an otaku.
I still spent time with family and friends, tried to build a "normal" life.
I even tried to start my own family.
I lived through love, heartbreak, pain, the whole messy cycle of being human.
But no matter what I did or achieved, it never quite felt like home.
The worlds I found in stories, those magical, dangerous, beautiful places, always felt more like home than anything here.
Of course I knew that isekai stories and games were just fiction.
I knew people don't actually get summoned or reincarnated.
But... am I wrong for still hoping?
For still wishing, quietly, that one day the impossible might happen to me?
And now...
Here I am.
Drifting in complete darkness.
I can't see anything.
I can't remember what happened, or how I got here.
My mind is foggy, my body feels weightless, distant.
But somewhere in the back of my head, a small, stubborn part of me is whispering:
This is it.
This is the start.
This is the beginning of MY isekai story.
