Love in the Wrong Rain
John was a very handsome boy, and Maria was a very beautiful girl. One day, they both went outside at the same time, and suddenly it started raining… very heavily, like in movies, but worse.
John looked at Maria and said,
"Wow… you are more beautiful than the rain."
Maria looked confused and replied,
"Rain is water."
John smiled anyway. "Yes, but you are…
wetter."
There was an awkward silence.
Then suddenly, John slipped on the wet road and fell dramatically. Maria gasped but didn't help him because she was also busy slipping and falling in slow motion for no reason.
They both lay on the ground, staring at each other.
"I think… I love you," John said, even though they had just met 10 seconds ago.
Maria nodded seriously. "I also think… I love you. Because destiny."
Lightning struck nearby for extra drama.
The next day, they forgot each other's names but still decided to get married because the rain "connected their souls."
And they lived… somewhat confused ever after.
