I didn't know when I actually dozed off, but I was woken up by the sensation of being shaken rather violently.
"Senne…?"
I spoke as I opened my eyes, somehow expecting that it must have been the lately-reclusive devil who'd woken me up.
I didn't see her, though, and when I picked up my phone to check the time, I saw that there was an emergency notification.
'Earthquake alert. Please remain indoors until further notice.'
Earthquake?
This was something I had never experienced in my entire life.
And I don't think anyone else living in this area ever did.
It was then that I finally heard Senne's voice emerge—from no particular direction.
"Time to stream."
Then I saw Senne stand next to my bed, on the spot where I was certain she wasn't there before.
