Synopsis
10 million people from Earth were sent to a new world, scattered across different continents. The catch? The world was governed by a system just like a game's. Classes, attributes, monsters, quests. Everything a game had, this world had too. Kael was one of those people. But unlike many, he didn't start with a powerful class. In fact, he was complete trash in combat. In the end, he gave up on fighting altogether and focused on the world's professions instead. Fishing, cooking, alchemy, blacksmithing. He did it all. It earned him enough money, and the chance to retire to a quiet fishing island, enjoying a life far from any trouble. It was on that island he met a legendary player. One of the strongest, known as the Mad Warrior. During their meeting, the warrior decided to tell him about his special class, and the legendary sword that came with it. “It was on this island I got the class. You want to know how I unlocked this class? I was the first player to die. Pretty dumb, right?” Kael thought he'd finally found a good friend. But fate wasn't kind to him. A powerful tsunami wiped the island completely off the map. Kael died with it. The wave slammed into his body, dealing 80,000 points of damage. Who the hell had 80,000 HP? The player with the legendary class did. He was the only one left on the island. Kael's body was gone, swept away by the waves. “I'd just met this cool guy… Damn it...” ---------------- Kael woke up on the very same day humanity was taken to the new world. Now, with the knowledge from his past life, he knew exactly what he wanted to do. “I'm going to get that legendary class!” And he did. A class that could only level up the Vitality attribute. But it came with special abilities. Exchange HP to temporarily gain Strength, Agility, Intelligence, Charisma, or Wisdom? Yes. A sword that dealt more damage based on his maximum HP? Yes. And it could even change shape, becoming a two-handed sword, a bow, or a spear? Yes. To top it off, Kael received an EXP bonus for killing monsters while his HP was low. With his new broken class, Kael finally had what it takes to explore that massive world, and become one of the leading figures. Of course, he never abandoned his fishing hobby. In fact, it turned out to be the perfect match for his new class. "If I cook this special monstrous fish recipe, I can increase my maximum HP by 1%. This is awesome!"

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 - New Life

The world changed. It was sudden, chaotic, strange. No one knew why it happened, or who caused it. What was the reason behind it all?

Kael was just like everyone else. Clueless. Scared. Well, that was his past self. The version of him who didn't know how to survive in this new world.

Where am I? I just died in that tsunami. My life should have ended!

His quiet fishing day had turned into a disaster. The only good thing about that day was meeting the legendary player, The Mad Warrior.

The Mad Warrior shared some things about his secret class. Why? Kael had no idea. Knowing about his class didn't matter at the time. What would Kael do with it? He was a player who didn't fight. All he did was stick to professions and enjoy a quiet life.

When the tsunami came, all he could do was watch as his life faded. Everyone knew dying in this new world meant DYING for good. It all looked like a game, but there was no respawn.

However, Kael now stood inside a dark room. Before him was a stunning tall woman with silver hair. She stood five meters tall. Like a deity. A goddess.

She appeared to all ten million people who were summoned to this world. It was her responsibility to guide them, explaining how things worked so no one felt completely lost.

Did it help? Kind of. Despite being summoned and hearing her words, many people didn't quite believe what was happening. It wasn't easy to accept that their lives had changed so suddenly.

Kael, with the knowledge from his previous time in this world, knew exactly what he wanted to do.

He didn't pay attention to what the lady was saying. She was just explaining the initial classes, how people would awaken different classes and have different starting attributes based on their natural talent.

Back in his time, Kael was absolute garbage, with the worst stats he'd ever seen. Only 1 point in each attribute, and a basic warrior class. Even among the shitty players, he was the shittiest.

Kael closed his right fist.

I don't want to be a weak player again. I want to explore this new world with my own eyes.

A flame ignited within him. A desire to change his fate. He didn't want to be the same person as before. With this new chance, he wanted to be different.

The world they were sent to was vast and majestic. There were dangers everywhere, but that was what made it beautiful.

Kael was a curious person. He wanted to find out the reason they were there, who the hell summoned them, and why.

No more hiding on fishing islands or crafting swords all day long. Kael wanted action. He wanted to build his own guild, expand his kingdom, and become someone important in this new world.

And there was something he could do to achieve that. A risk he was willing to take.

Was the Mad Warrior telling me the truth? Do I need to be the first player to die?

That was what he said about his class. To get it, one had to be the first player to die in this new world.

Risky. Kael had survived the tsunami and was sent back in time, but would it happen again? He had a feeling it wouldn't. What if the player was lying about how he got his class? It was possible.

Yet, even with the odds stacked against him and the risk of dying for good, he still wanted to try. It was the only way to change his future.

The soft melodic voice of the goddess echoed through the dark chamber.

"I wish you luck in this new world, adventurer."

Kael's body vanished. Not just him, but all the people who had been chosen for that new world.

Ten million people scattered among different continents. Some continents were stronger, others weren't. Kael was in the weakest of them all.

But this continent had a benefit: it was isolated. There was a main island and many smaller islands around it, far from all the other continents.

It took players two years to find this continent. The one who did it was a bold mage who sailed the oceans looking for lost tomes of magic. One of the many legendary players of that new world.

The isolation was a good thing for Kael. It gave him time. Time to grow stronger.

Well, that's assuming his bold idea worked. The moment he was transported to that world, Kael wasted no time.

All the other players were looking around non-stop.

"Where are we? Is this actually happening?"

"Hey, did you speak with a lady before getting here?"

"Yes, I did. Did she have silver hair?"

They were all trying to figure out what was happening. The place they were in was one of the many starting villages on the continent's main island.

Kael ran. There was no time to lose. He had to be the first player to die in this new world.

The monsters are far from the main village, so it'll take me some time to get there... I can't waste time. How can I die faster?

An idea popped into his mind. It was a bold one, but for the legendary class, it was worth it.

The players saw him rush past.

"Why is that young man in such a hurry? Does he know something we don't?"

"Should we go ask him?"

Kael reached the beginner village's main entrance. There, he spotted two guards standing at the gate.

Both were level 20, far stronger than any player at this stage.

"Eat this, you bastard!" Kael yelled as he punched the guard right in the face.

Attacking the guards wasn't a good idea.

"Hey, stop it," the guard said.

The first few hits weren't that bad, but if you kept hitting them, well, they wouldn't just stand there and let it happen.

Eventually, the guard moved, thrusting his spear into Kael's torso. Blood spurted from the wound.

[-200 HP]

[You are dead.]

The system notified him. His body fell to the ground, lifeless.
