Listening to these comments, I returned to my spot. As I climbed the aisle stairs, I could feel curious glances on me.

As I ignored them and settled down, Eileen, who was nervously fidgeting with her fingers, called out to me.
“Will it be fine? What if the professor holds a grudge against you and seeks revenge?”
