Sylvia, who had no one to even converse with in the past, let alone friends, was slow to catch onto the rumors and information floating around the Academy. Hence, without much thought, she registered for the Advanced Ancient Language class.
Her intention was simply to meet the minimum course requirements needed to continue attending the Academy.
The problem was that most students, already aware of the rumors, avoided taking this class. It meant that Professor Morgan, who had developed a habit of tormenting one student from each class, didn't have a 'target' to pick on.
In this class, with just a few more than ten registered students, none fell under the category of 'weak' in Professor Morgan's eyes. Except for one––Sylvia.
