Upon the inheritance of the mess that was the Ducal House of Carnoire, Zahid strictly evaluated his given circumstances.
He wasn’t going to settle with just getting rich.
He wanted to stand on top of the world.
He wanted to exalt the Carnoire name so high, that nobody will ever disrespect the name ever again.
In order to rebuild honor and power, Zahid had to enter the world of politics.
Without its means of livelihood, however, the Ducal House barely had enough to retain its title.
Debuting as a politician was nearly impossible for him.
Zahid needed to establish his grounds first.
Hence, Zahid chose to partake in war.
At the time, the Vahaluun empire had been fiercely at war with the kingdom of Niaakal.
Though the Vahaluun military was far stronger than that of the kingdom, there was one small problem.
The Niaakal kingdom had the Wizard of the Earth among them.
