Zahid was more widely known by the Niaakalites than the inhabitants of the southern Carnoire dukedom.
Every time he visited the south, he would spend most of his time fighting in contested territory rather than spending his time at his dukedom.
Hence, he rarely made any public appearances within the dukedom.
It wasn’t like he paraded into town every time he visited, so he was more of a faceless figure in that area.
Only vague rumors about his unbelievable beauty roamed the streets.
The young man that had hit on me didn’t notice that Zahid was the Duke of this dukedom.
Instead, he blanked out for a bit as he stared at Zahid’s face.
The beauty in front of him, who was smiling brilliantly like a fully blossomed flower, was beautiful enough to entrance men and women alike.
He blinked his eyes multiple times in disbelief as if he couldn’t believe that Zahid was real.
While the man was busy gaping at Zahid’s face, I shook his grip off of my wrist and hid behind Zahid.
