Ava was in class with her friends Sarah and Theodore seated either side of her. The classroom atmosphere was the same as always students talking, laughing and making jokes. Some playing truth or dare, some quietly taking notes in their textbook, some whispering while couples being all lovey dovey.
Just then their teacher Sir. Fransisco the physics teacher came in he had a stack of papers and behind him was the other section of the school Noah's section. Sir Fransisco called out to the class.
Sir Fransisco: Students today I thought I'd take a surprise test from both the top sections you'll all be seated in this room.
All the students sat down one by one Noah sat down behind Ava Great just great the test started and Ava answered all the questions with ease she studied everyday so it wasn't hard for her but every once in a while she'd glance at the reflection in the window Noah was struggling and it gave her a feeling of thrill she would be better than him again. Woohoo!
Ava rechecked her test two times and then handed it to the teacher. Sir Fransisco took the paper not at all surprised that Ava was the first one to give the paper she always was the first and always answered all his questions with ease. Sir Fransisco went back to his desk at the front of the class and sat down he began checking Ava's paper. Noah couldn't help but glance up How did she complete her test so fast it's so hard!
Sir Fransisco ut his pen down after a moment and said.
Sir Fransisco: Everyone pens down and Ms. Gray excellent work full marks.
Ava: Thank You Sir.
Sir Fransisco took everyone's tests then cleared his throat.
Sir Fransisco: Class dismissed.
All Students: Ok Sir.
Everyone went outside Ava, Sarah and Theodore all went to their lockers. Sarah looked happy and Theodore was grinning.
Sarah: You really showed Noah your the topper in this school.
Theodore: Exactly did you look at his face it was priceless.
Ava: Both of you don't get too cocky he's also good in maths something I'm not that good in.
Sarah: Please don't be so modest Ava enjoy the win.
That's when Noah appeared from behind them.
Noah: Enjoy the victory Gray you won't be smiling that long.
Those words were weird for Theodore and Sarah but Ava understood them. When they get married their lives will be hell.
