I finally got my inheritance.
And honestly?
It was hell.
Clyde made every single step difficult for me.

My expression darkened slightly.
Because it was true.
Jay smiled while suffering quietly.
Protected everyone while destroying herself slowly.

I grabbed the inheritance papers and signed them quickly.

I leaned back slightly after finishing.
One whole month wasted away from her.

"Keifer : prepare the jet."
Honey looked up immediately.
"Honey : tonight?"
"Keifer : yes."
"Honey : what about tomorrow's meetings with the elders?"
"Keifer : cancel them."
"Honey : they won't like that."
I grabbed my coat calmly.
"Keifer : i don't care."
Honey stared at me for a second before speaking again.
"Honey : i already packed my things."
I looked at her slightly.
"Honey : did you really think i would let you search for jay alone?"
For the first time in days—
a small smile almost appeared on my face.
Almost.
Later that night—
I stood inside the private airport while the staff prepared the jet.
Cold air brushed against my face as I stared at the dark sky above me.
Beside me, Honey quietly checked the flight details.
For some reason…
everything felt different tonight.
One month ago—
Jay disappeared from our lives.
And now—
we were finally going back to the philippines.
Back to answers.
Back to unfinished problems.
