Keifer's PoV
Today was the day we officially start the wedding preparations for David's wedding, I don't know how I felt because this was wedding I never wanted to happen but right now I am the one taking care of it, I chuckle thinking about the games the universe likes to play.
We went to office this morning to make sure every thing is alright and made sure all the workers will reach the venue on time, we have start setting up tonight because we have the event tomorrow,
and Jay was going around and doing all the work and I liked seeing her like that in her element, that shows how much she loves her work,
No wonder in that because that was my first impression of her, the first day I met her I knew it's going to take a lot of convincing to get her company but as I got to know her I knew why she was like because she cared about her company and work sometimes even more than herself,
She was running around here and there, I pretty sure she did not have her breakfast and it was almost time for lunch, So I quickly went out to pick up her favourite take out , I returned back,
Jay: "Where have you been? there is still so much work pending" she asked in a panic mode,
Keifer: "Wait, wait relax now breathe"
Jay: "What? move I have work" she said and was about to move but I held her,
and gently took her to the couch,
Jay: "Keifer what are you doing?"
Keifer: "Relax Jay, now take a break, nothing is going to fall apart if you do" I tell her soft I can visibly see her relax,
Jay: "Fine just a short one"
I nod and hand over her the food which makes her smile
,
Jay: "Did you go out to get this ?" she asks in a surprised tone filled with a smile,
I just nod and she starts eating,
Jay: "Hmm this so good, Thanks"
I just smile and soon she is done and she starts speaking,
Jay: "Okay Keif, I still have some work after that I have to change and in the evening we can leave to the venue okay?"
Keifer: "Done"
After some time she was done with the work and she texts me to wait outside in the car, she is getting ready and then we can leave, So I go down and wait near my car,
After sometime she walks out looking gorgeous in brown dress and her hair falling by her side, she looks like the beautiful woman to ever exist,
I was just stunned looking at her, she walks towards me and waves her hand before my face,
Jay: "Hey come on it's getting late" she says and I get into the car and start driving and I feel a little nervous I don't know why, We reached the venue and she goes to do the work she has pending,
She was checking the arrangements in the ballroom, while I was admiring her, she was
finally done and she stood in front of the table admiring the setting, I couldn't help so I went and stood next to her, she acknowledged my presence.
Then I noticed she was starring at the decorations and lights like it was something precious, before I could ask her about it, she herself started speaking,
Jay: "You know every time I do these marriage events, after setting them the whole decor, I just stare at them for a while, think about all the fun things about the wedding, you know the vows, ring exchange, the wedding games and especially the wedding dance you know after wedding as husband and wife,
I feel like every time I do this my heart yearns for this, you know like when it is going to be my turn" she chuckles and says, "You must think I am an idiot right now."
Keifer( In his mind): "No Jay I think you are the prettiest person and I would marry you right here, right now, if I could" while looking at her
I just chuckled and looked,
I didn't speak anything instead, I go in front of her, and place my hand before her,
She gives me, "is this you" expression.
I gesture her to place her hand in mine,
She does it anyway,
Keifer: "One minute" I say and pull out my phone and start playing soft romantic music for us to dance.
Keifer: "I don't know when it's going to be our turn, but right now we are here, we can enjoy all this."
She does not say anything, instead she takes my hand and her other hand rest on my shoulder, while my hands find her waist.
We slowly start moving to the rhythm of the music, but I only focused on one thing HER.
She always looked pretty but today she was glowing and I don't know why, is it because of the lighting or the set up or is it just us being this close. Probably the last one,
I twirl her and she returns to my arms, but this time a little closer than before, our faces were in close proximity, and I did not move and so did she, both of us were starring into each other's eyes, I could hear our heartbeat raising,
Her eyes move to my lips for split second and then back to my eyes and so did mine, without realising both of us lean in, I wait a minute to see if she wanted to pull away, but she didn't.
Both of us lean closer and our lips meet in a sweet kiss, my hand move to cup her face, while hers move to my neck. We both are kissing and I couldn't believe it. I am kissing Jasper Jean Mariano, the woman I love.
