Keifer's Pov
Keifer: "What are you doing here?"
I asked looking at Liv, while Jay still inside and it seemed like she was peeking,
Liv( in lower tone): "I am here to help you, you left the party so soon, So I am here to continue it."
I sighed and said, "Don't you have anything better to do?"
Liv: "Nope, What I am for, If I can't even help you get the girl you love?"
Keifer: "Liv, Thanks for your help but I don't need it."
While Jay started speaking,
Jay: "Who is it Keif?"
Before I could reply, Liv pushed me aside and went in and started talking to her,
Liv: "Hello, I think I saw you at the Gala."
To which she gave a fake smile which I could sense from miles,
Jay: "Oh, Sorry I don't remember seeing you."
To which Liv smirked knowing very well she is lying,
I smiled to myself and asked "Is Jay jealous?"
But I didn't linger on it longer because I don't want to get hurt again,
Liv: "Well, it's not a problem, I'll introduce myself I am Liv. I am one of the closest person to Keif" She said and forwarded her hand to Jay
Jay: "Oh, I am Jay Jay." She said in an uninterested tone,
Then I came in and stood there sensing the tension of the room,
Keifer: "I guess you both have met" I said with an awkward smile,
Jay gave an ultimate fake smile again,
Liv: "I thought you would be alone Keif" she said in a sweet tone which made nauseous internally
before I could say anything,
Jay: "Oh, I am sorry, you both can be alone, I am going out" she said irritatedly and moved,
Liv: "No, I was just asking, it's fine"
Jay: "Nah, I am good" she said and kept moving, I held her hand
Keifer: "NO Jay, it's already late" I said and pleaded her with my eyes,
she sighed and said, "Fine"
she said and was about to go her room,
Liv: "I am sorry, I just said it for fun, please stay here otherwise I will feel bad"
she just nodded and sat on the couch.
Jay's Pov
that girl, she make me irritated like hell, If I am being honest I don't like her from the day I saw her, the way she clings to Keifer and goes around saying she is the closest person to him,
So close that he didn't even mention about her to me, I'll see it afterwards,
I thought and glared at him and right now to she hooked her arms around his and sitting next to him, practically clinging onto to him,
I got irritated and just wanted to move from there,
Jay: "I'll get something for you to drink" I said and moved to the kitchen,
Author's Pov
Keifer: "What the hell are you doing?" I asked her removing my hand and moving from her,
Liv: "Chill Watson, I am just trying to help you here"
Keifer: "Please I don't want your help"
I said and moved inside the kitchen where I can hear vessel sounds loudly because I know jay is frusterated,
Keifer: "Jay" I called her sweetly,
Jay: "What? you came here to supervise if I am actually making a good drink for your closest person" she asked sarcastically,
I just gave her a guilty smile and,
Keifer: "Jay, it's not like what you think?"
Jay: "Then what?"
before I could reply,
Liv:"Keif, why did you leave me alone?"
she says and comes and hugs me and about to place kiss on my cheek and I can see Jay getting irritated or angry,
I push Liv away and about to talk to Jay but she leaves the Kitchen in a hurry and I turn to Liv,
Keifer: "Liv, thank you so much for your help but please leave" I say in stern tone,
Liv: "But"
Keifer: "Liv please" then she leaves the place and I immediately go to Jay's room and knock on her door,
Keifer: "Jay please open the door" after few knocks she opens the door, her face has a neutral expression,
Jay: "What do you want?" she asks in an uninterested tone,
Keifer: "Jay, I am sorry" she interrupted me,
Jay: "Why are asking sorry for? I am the one who was supposed to ask sorry, I should have moved back to my place as soon as I got well but I just stayed here and now I am like an hinderance in your way, I will leave soon" she speaks without looking into my eyes,
I don't know what triggered in me when she said, "I will leave soon"
Keifer: "So, that's it you are leaving me? also those things about being my friend always and being in my life and being there for me was just a consolation speech, I must have known I am not lucky enough to anyone stand by me but thanks for whatever you gave me" I shouted at her and went from the place.
Jay just stood there realising how much her words have hurt him, she felt guilty because she knows he is already in pain and about his past and because of the frustrations she felt, she let out a few words which she now regret,
After few minutes she goes to his room but he is not there, then she goes to his place, the terrace,
where he is just standing there looking at sky,
she goes towards and see his eyes is filled with tears,
Jay: "Keifer"
Keifer: "Why did you come here Jay? I don't want to bother you"
Jay: "Keif, I am sorry"
but Keifer was not in the mood to hear her so he turns to leave but Jay hold his hand and he turns around only to be hugged by her, he was little stunned and surprised by her action,
Jay: "I am so sorry Keif, I am really sorry that I acted that way and for the things I said" she says crying and finally lifts her head and meets his eyes which is
too filled with tears,
his hands instinctively move towards her face and wipe her tears,
Jay : "I think I acted that way because it's you, I mean you came into my life when I had no one else to lean on, you unknowingly became a huge part of my life, a part that I am always grateful for, a part that made me feel like I have someone to lean on, a part where I can share my problems with no judgement passed, a part that makes me happy" she said with a smile on her face which reflected on his face too when she said those things,
Jay: "So, I think I acted a little crazy and also maybe I am a little possessive of you and when she came and said and acted like she is the closest person, I think I lost it a little, I am sorry and I am not leaving you anytime soon" she said and hugged him tightly,
Keifer felt really happy after hearing what place he holds in her life and held her tightly and they stayed like that for few minutes, before he decides to tease her again
Keifer: "So you are possessive of me?" he asked with a smirk,
Jay: "Oh my God, I regret saying it already" she says and smacks him and he laughs,
Jay: "You know what? just go to that lily "
Keifer: "It's Liv you know it and she must have gone by now."
Jay: "Oh so you miss her"
Keifer: "Well yeah, I do miss my sister"
I takes a minute for Jay to realise,
Jay: "She is your sister?" she asks in pure shock while he nods his head trying to control his laughter,
Keifer: "Yes, my cousin"
there was relief in Jay's face which didn't go unnoticed by Keifer,
She just rolls her eyes and push him and start walking while Keifer follows her,
Keifer: "Hey, where are you going?"
Jay: "I am going to sleep we have to get up early, remember David and Freya's wedding preparations starts tomorrow"
she says and start moving faster while she followed by Keifer's teasing and laughter.
