Before then…
Thud!
Hamizz fell on his back as blood repeated gush out from his mouth. He swizzled on the ground as if asking for repentance. He was thoroughly drained by his last attack. He wouldn't use it carelessly.
Nonetheless, because he was enraged by the way his companion was thrown after being pierced, there was no other thing holding him back.
Zaapp…
A holy light suddenly descended from the sky. Its holiness covered the people as they all felt the felling to bow.
It was as if there was a voice from within constantly telling them it was just okay to oblige. The weaker cultivators started falling on their backs as they couldn't hold the pressure any longer.
Silence completely filled the space that even if a pin dropped, it would be clearly heard by all.
Thereupon, a woman descended from the sky and landed with a loud bang on the ground, creating a cloud of dust.
The moment the dusts settled everyone was dumbfounded by the peerless beauty in front of them with piercing eyes and short lashes.
She slowly walked on the ground and not even her footsteps could be heard in the dead silence. Her perfect steps were as if she was using a movement skill but obviously, she wasn't as her aura was completely dormant.
This was the cause of using a skill for so long, enclosing and incorporating one's skill into their core.
She wore a luxurious silver robes ingrained with glowing lusters and had this dazzling pupil which seem to ignite attraction on anyone naturally. Her thin nose complemented her oval face and hideous body shapes as she walked closer and everyone watched as her silvery hair danced with the wind.
A long thin rope could be seen hanging down her shoulder.
She exalted dominance on the crowd as she spread her spiritual sense to the limits, easily crossing more than a 100-meter radius. The expression on her face was stern as her sharp voice cut across the silent space,
"Wow-wow, what a nice decoration you've done to my domain. It will be a pleasure housing you next time." She said as her lips curled into a ridiculous smile which captivated and made all the people who heard her shivered.
Yes! She was none other than a Settlers' soldier. But unbeknownst to most, she was also the daughter of the zone 11 commander and also the pride and face of the entire zone, Kate Bargle.
What they feared the most was the energy she was emitting which made all of them paralyzed…
Thud...
Balin and Simley who were already at the center of the crowd immediately fell on their butts. They are doomed…
____
A boy with long curly red hair was seated in a cross-legged position on the floor and meditating as he tried to gather together the receding energy, seeking to improve his cultivation base.
His efforts were futile as the energy were constantly being sucked into what he named a Black hole.
However, unlike the other times he cultivated something actually changed this time around.
He realized by the time he woke up just to brush his teeth, his octagonal pendant imprinted with diverse array light which usually hung down his neck was nowhere to be seen.
Having searched the entire room with no result he asked his parents and sister whose replies were negative.
After searching for some time, he reluctantly stopped thinking about it and shifted his mind to cultivate. It had been a while since he last though of increasing his cultivation base.
Maybe he will see the pendant when he was in a relaxed state.
The cultivation as usual gave him trouble like any other time but he continued the process as he usually does. But this time something new happened.
Blood sat and began his cultivation but the next thing that happened gave him a huge shock. He stared sheepishly as he was impaled by the sight before him.
He was inadvertently transported to a large space with still starry stars. The stars weren't moving as if they were impounded by some mighty power or rule.
The lost pendant he was having trouble finding lay amidst the distinct stars emitting a soothing glow. Its glow was a lot sharper than before, and the stars resonates total tranquility.
A feeling of trepidation suddenly enveloped him when he took a closer look before he quickly changed his course. He simply couldn't comprehend this bewildering scenery.
Wanting to try something new, he quickly sat cross-legged on the starry space and started cultivating.
Blood gathered the energy in the surrounding space and guided it through his energy paths and slowly fill the crystal ball in his Spiritual space.
He noticed that as he gathered the energy and transported it, the energy paths were vividly shown just close to the octagonal chain.
It was a transparent pathway that went from side to side of the octagonal pendant.
He could feel that the energy was growing fast. The rate at which he could gather the heaven and earth energy obviously increased. He had never before gathered energy in this manner especially with his low cultivation technique.
Nevertheless, he continued to circulate the energy and noticed that his Spiritual space which houses the crystal ball of Heaven and Earth energy wasn't leaking at all as he previously thought.
The energy was simply being swallowed by the pendant sitting at the center of all this.
After accumulating heaven and earth energy for some time, the energy around the pendant all of a sudden grew brighter as it surged. It was as if it was going to burst, and so it did.
Boomm!
A silent but massive burst of energy engulfed the space as the motionless stars for a moment seemed to shift and quickly started glowing. The previously almost inactive space was relived at this moment as penetrative and dangerous darkness descended.
Therewith, the entire space was covered by thick cloud of darkness for some period of time as the extraordinary space chimed before it gradually brightened, and then became dark, then brightens and like this, the sequence changed from light to darkness as Blood in that instant was sent out of the starry space to the real world.
His eyes were tightly knitted as he breathed heavily. He was abruptly lost in the field of cultivation as time passed. He sat there like a mountain, unmoving.
A day soon passed and everything was the same. It became two days then three and just like that, a month quickly passed in a flash.
_______
Meanwhile…
While Blood was deep in cultivation, two persons had unwittingly upset an hornets' nest.
Balin and Simley backed away as feelings of dread overcame them when they recognized the beauty in front of them that they unknowingly slam on the ground as they withdrew from the place.
It just so happened that the young lady owned the place. What an unfortunate situation they've found themselves. Their clans clearly wouldn't openly help them get out of this.
They had to play their cards well!
They clearly heard her claiming this place was her domain. Doesn't it meant they'd been going rampant ever since on her territory?
Their clan might remove their entire history from the clan's record, declaring them unknown immediately they came to know. They didn't know her true origin, but their parents clearly warned them against troubling her and that even they were small ants in her sight and also, they wouldn't interfere and would completely give up anyone finding fault with her.
It would be a complete loss to be on her bad side, having the backing and influence of a commanding officer of a zone. No Zone commander were easy figures. They all held tremendous powers and authority.
Only very talented people were worth the clan's attention and to be fought for. Her background was this big!
They've breached the territory of a fierce tiger, and they perceived not the danger before them until it was already too late…
