ELARA~
I'd been in three houses in almost four months.
Depending on how I looked at it, this one wasn't terrible.
It almost resembled my old apartment. Before all this disaster.
I stood by the floor-to-ceiling window staring down at the unfamiliar street below.
Ernest paced behind me. He had been on a call for nearly thirty minutes.
Something about rehearsals, sponsors and the Obsidian Awards.
The standings were coming out in an hour and I was hoping by some miracle I dropped to third place.
At this point I had stopped listening to him. I walked toward dining table by the left and drew myself a seat.
I unlocked my phone, bad idea. Isla was right about one thing though. I needed that signal jammer.
I sat down and began scrolling. Of course, the internet had never improved anybody's day.
After a few swipes, I came across an edit of my self.
The green bar on the comments said Horizon's termination.
So, I opened Horizon's page. Immediately regretted it.
