Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Summoning Tom at the Start

Looking at his unharmed reflection in the mirror, the man pinched his face, confirmed that he wasn't dreaming, and then blurted out in confusion, "Holy crap, I'm alive? I really transmigrated?!"

His name was Haku, unrelated to his father's gaming skills; it was mainly because his mother's surname was Song, so the name Haku was happily decided upon.

About ten minutes ago, Haku woke up early, and it was already one in the afternoon. As usual, after dawdling at home for half an hour, he prepared to go buy breakfast.

As he was about to cross the road to the noodle shop on the other side, a truck fully loaded with goods suddenly accelerated and directly ran him over. It was hard not to suspect that it was intentional.

But what was certain was that Haku was completely crushed, and it was only a matter of time before he was gone.

Just as Haku was about to completely perish, a floating window appeared before his eyes, detailing something about going to some world to save it. Haku didn't remember any of it. Simply put, it was either resurrect and work, or die on the spot.

In this situation, was there even a need to consider? Haku decisively chose the former.

When he came to, he found himself in someone's house, though he didn't know whose. The owner wasn't home at the moment.

Whose house it was didn't matter; what mattered was that his body, which had been completely shattered from the previous accident, was now perfectly intact, as if he had never been in a car accident at all.

To be honest, Haku still had an unrealistic feeling.

"So, I really came to Type-Moon?" After digesting the information poured into his mind, Haku finally understood his current situation.

Simply put, this world was sick, and the purpose of his abduction was to save this world, to prevent it from being completely destroyed.

However... exactly what the situation was, it didn't say at all, which gave Haku the constant illusion that he was cannon fodder.

But the entity that abducted him didn't do everything bad; at least it gave him the ability to summon Servants, allowing him to barely possess some self-preservation power, so he wouldn't just give up for no reason.

He composed himself and tentatively said, "Panel?"

As soon as he spoke, a floating display screen-like object immediately appeared before Haku's eyes, roughly estimated to be about 27 inches.

On the left were several prominent buttons, but only two were lit: 'Target' and'Summon.' The others were gray and unavailable, presumably to be unlocked later.

After thinking for a moment, Haku didn't rush to look at the summon interface. Instead, he first clicked on the first button, which was 'Target.'

Target One: Summon Servant 0/1

Target Two:???

Looking at these two lonely lines of text, which were as helpful as hearing a speech that said nothing, Haku silently exited this interface and turned his attention to the'Summon' button.

The moment he clicked, the panel disappeared directly from Haku's sight.

In its place, a rapidly forming crimson summoning circle appeared before Haku, which, to say it wasn't similar to the summoning circle for Servants in Type-Moon, would be to say it was completely identical.

"By the way, what was the summoning chant again... Well, it seems it's not needed."

Looking at the crimson summoning circle before him, before Haku could even force out a summoning chant from his mind, the summoning circle began to operate on its own; there was no need for Haku to manually do anything.

As the summoning circle automatically operated, every line of its pattern began to emit a faint blue light upwards, becoming increasingly brilliant.

Finally, the summoning circle first dimmed, and then, as if exploding, its center erupted into an extremely dazzling pure white light.

As a result, Haku, who was watching the entire summoning process, was caught off guard and completely blinded, as if he was intently sniping an opponent and a teammate threw a flashbang in his face, completely blinding him.

Even though Haku immediately put his right hand over his eyes to try and block the light, it was a little too late.

After about two or three seconds, as the intensity of the light gradually decreased, Haku's vision slowly began to recover.

At the same time, three blood-red Yuha appeared on his right hand, which were Command Spells.

And at this moment, a blurry figure had already appeared in the summoning circle. Clearly, this must be the Servant Haku had just summoned.

However, was this Servant... a little too short?

Roughly estimated, it might not even be a meter tall, and its appearance was also a bit strange.

Haku rubbed his eyes and looked carefully at the Servant he had summoned again, then... he froze.

He saw a large blue-gray cat standing in the middle of the summoning circle, holding a golden trophy in its paws, its head held proudly high. The trophy was inscribed with "National Mouse Catching Champion - Tom."

"To... To-To-To-To... Tom?!" After a long moment of stunned silence, Haku finally reacted, looking at the large blue-gray cat before him with disbelief.

Seeing that Haku seemed to know his name, Tom maintained his trophy-holding pose and nodded several times emphatically, confirming Haku's words, and his expression became even more proud.

"Holy crap... it's really Tom..."

After the initial shock wore off, a surge of ecstasy immediately rose from within Haku, "Yay!!!"

Putting everything else aside, at least his safety was now guaranteed.

Before, he had been thinking that since it was 1994, around the time of the Fourth Holy Grail War, if he didn't summon a first-rate or higher Servant, then he wouldn't even be able to save the world; he himself would be in a superposition of 'already dead' and 'about to be dead.'

And then... he summoned Tom, a comedic character.

As everyone knows, no matter how powerful you are, never argue with a comedic character. For a specific example... just look at Arale, who crashed into the Dragon Ball world. One can only say she is terrifyingly powerful.

"Kusou~ Kusou~ Ka!" Just as Haku was still in ecstasy, there was a sound of lock-picking at the door.

"Creak~" With a slight sound, the person outside picking the lock pushed open the door and happened to see Haku opposite him.

Their eyes met, and finally, the person at the door spoke first, "Yo~, you must be the owner of this house. I'm Ryunosuke, I'm just going to bother you a little..."

Before Ryunosuke could finish speaking, Haku, upon hearing the name, immediately realized who the person opposite him was and quickly pointed at Ryunosuke, shouting.

"Tom, tie him up for me!!!"
