Part3:
The teacher smiled when her phone rang.
"That's it for today's class… See you next week."
She gathered her books and picked up a cup of hot coffee.
Teacher: "I can finally have my coffee now…"
She headed toward the door but suddenly bumped into Veronica, causing the hot coffee to spill all over her.
Teacher: "Oh, I'm so sorry!"
Veronica cried out in pain: "It's hot!"
Teacher: "I'm really sorry, I wasn't paying attention…"
Veronica: "It's okay… I'll go to the bathroom."
Veronica headed to the bathroom, while the teacher sighed to herself:
"Unfortunately… the heat hurt her. Neither ice runs through her veins, nor fire… Just an ordinary human. Damn it… I've wasted my time at this lousy school."
The teacher's form quickly transformed into a man in his fifties wearing a black suit. He headed outside and, in an instant, vanished from sight.
Inside the bathroom, Veronica was washing her burning hand, watching as the red mark began to fade away.
Veronica: "Damn… I don't understand why my dad forces me to come to school."
She looked at the spot on her hand: "It's okay… only a few days left, and it'll all be over."
Another girl entered the bathroom:
"Hi Veronica, how are you?"
Veronica: "I'm fine… and you?"
The girl sighed: "Really bad…"
Veronica: "Why? What's wrong?"
The girl: "I was really excited for the professor's class today, but I felt like I was in a history lecture. It was as if my major were literature instead of medicine… But at least it's a good story to tell my patients in the future."
Veronica gave her a strange look, then hurried out, leaving the girl standing there in surprise.
Veronica quickly pulled out her phone and said in a trembling voice:
"Dad… I think they're here."
Father: "It's okay… we're here too."
