The sea was really calm.
Too calm it was a bit strange.
The ship was moving easily the wind was pushing it along and it was not hard work at all.
Even though everything seemed okay the atmosphere on the ship was not happy.
Nami was sitting with a map she was looking at it closely.
Carina was resting near the pole that held up the sail she was watching what was going on but not doing much.
Caelum was standing at the side of the ship looking out at the sea.
But he was not really seeing the sea he was thinking about something
He said something quietly it was like he was talking to himself.
The words were "it was not luck".
He was not trying to tell anyone anything he was just thinking out loud.
Caelum looked down at his hands he was remembering something that had happened before.
He remembered it clearly it was like it was still happening.
He was thinking about how his body had moved quickly and precisely.
It was too precise it did not feel natural.
He said "my body moved first" and he looked a bit confused.
He did not understand what had happened it was like his body was moving on its own.
He said ". It is not the first time" but he did not explain what he meant.
Then he heard the sound of paper moving. It made him stop thinking about it.
It was Nami she was saying "we have a problem".
She was not shouting, she did not need to everyone was listening.
Carina turned her head. Said "another one?"
Nami did not answer she just turned the map around so everyone could see it.
She pointed to an island in the north Caelum looked up and said "Gaznack".
Nami nodded she was saying that Gaznack was not a normal pirate he was someone important.
He controlled a lot of things like who could sail through areas and who could not.
Carina asked how this would affect them Nami said it would affect them if they wanted to keep moving
If they wanted to avoid sailing in circles they had to think about Gaznack.
There was a silence then Caelum said "we do not really know what kind of person he is".
Carina. Said "that has never stopped anyone before".
She stood up. Said "the real question is, is it worth it?"
Nami said "yes" away she thought it was worth it.
Carina asked if it was worth it for the routes Nami said it was worth it for the control.
Someone who has control always has power.
Carina smiled she was interested now.
Caelum was not convinced he thought it was an idea.
Nami said "someone who has that control always knows what they are doing".
Carina said "then this should be interesting" but Caelum did not think it was an idea.
He said "I do not think interesting is the word".
No one said anything the wind started to blow a bit stronger.
The ship changed direction slightly Nami looked at the map again.
This time she was not just looking at it she was deciding what to do.
She said "if we avoid that area we will lose time if we sail through it we will take a risk".
Carina asked what would happen if they took the risk Nami did not answer.
Caelum looked out at the sea again he was thinking.
They had been sailing for three months. They were not taking the easy way anymore.
He closed his eyes for a second said "if we go there is no turning back".
Nami looked up Carina smiled a bit.
Caelum said "I am not scared I am just thinking".
Carina said "then think faster" and Nami folded up the map.
She had made a decision they were going to sail through the area controlled by Gaznack.
There was no announcement they just changed direction.
Caelum felt the ship move beneath his feet he felt a change inside himself.
It was not fear it was more like he was aware of what was happening.
He leaned against the side of the ship. Looked out at the sea.
The sea felt different now it felt like they were sailing into something.
He said "three months. Now we are looking for trouble".
The wind. The ship moved forward.
Somewhere, in the north someone had built something and they were sailing right towards it.
