I took a deep breath and let out a long sigh. Watching Edwin and Haven observe my reaction and stand awkwardly dumbfounded me.
But my priority wasn't to scold these rascals; it was time to renegotiate with that damn bird holding my little brother's heart.
"I'll find it for you," I declared for now to grab the moonbird's attention.
Glaring at the creature looking down at me, I continued with as much authority as I could muster, "I heard you're looking for an artifact of the founding emperor. If it belongs to the ruler, I'll have an easier time finding it than this guy. After all, I am the empress."
"If you need security, I'll give you mine. Remove your hands from my brother’s heart."
"Raviel!"
"Your Majesty!"
"Your Majesty!"
The three rascals cried out in unison.
I said to them in a cold voice, "All of you, be quiet."
