Seeing Haven's face, Cecil tried to suppress her laughter and asked, "Does Duke Dehart get jealous too?"
"My partner tends to be very jealous," I replied.
Haven had admitted it from the start. So I nodded and answered her question, prompting Cecil to burst into laughter she had been holding back.
As she laughed alone, she suddenly stopped in embarrassment when she saw Haven and me sharing a smile looking at each other.
"I thought you might need them, so I brought a few secretaries and maids with me."
"Well done, Cecil. I was just about to summon them."
"And there was a message for you from Lord Chamberlain, Your Majesty."
"Lord Chamberlain? Is there something going on there?"
"He's inquiring about the royal wedding."
Ah, the royal wedding. If we were to stick to the original schedule, we would have to leave right now. But it would be absurd to leave the swamp half-dug just to return to the palace for a wedding.
