Chapter 6 - When the System Breaks

⚡ Lina's Awakening (the truth reacts)

The night after the intrusion didn't feel normal.

Even the air inside Darian's house felt… watched.

Lina sat on the couch, quiet for once.

Too quiet.

Darian noticed immediately.

"You're thinking too much," he said.

Lina blinked.

"…I heard her voice again."

That made the room go still.

Darian turned slightly.

"Who."

Lina hesitated.

"…The lady outside."

Silence.

Then—

the lights flickered once.

Not power failure.

Something else.

Like the world itself reacted to her remembering.

🖤 The First Activation

Lina slowly stood up.

Her fingers tightened.

"I don't like it when she talks in my head."

Darian's expression changed instantly.

"Sit down."

But she didn't.

For the first time—

something in her presence shifted.

Not loud.

Not explosive.

Just wrong.

The windows outside cracked slightly.

Not from impact.

From pressure.

Darian stepped forward immediately.

And then—

the system in the house failed.

Every lock. Every camera. Every signal.

Dead.

⚡ The Outside Strike Begins

A distant explosion echoed somewhere in the city grid.

Not near.

But aimed.

Darian looked up sharply.

"They're expanding the search radius."

Brother 1 cursed.

"…That's military-level tracking."

Brother 2 already moved toward the weapons cabinet.

"This is no longer a retrieval."

He looked at Lina.

"This is elimination protocol."

Lina stepped back slightly.

"…Because of me?"

Silence.

No one answered.

Because the answer was obvious.

🖤 Darian's Decision (no hesitation anymore)

Darian walked toward Lina.

He crouched slightly.

"Listen carefully."

She nodded slowly.

For once—no jokes. No talking.

He said:

"Stay behind me. No matter what."

Lina whispered:

"…Okay."

That single word changed everything.

Because she trusted him completely.

And that was dangerous.

⚡ Full Assault (home becomes battlefield)

The walls outside the house lit up with impact points.

Not random.

Targeted.

Three entry points breached simultaneously.

This time—

no silence.

Gunfire. Movement. Coordination.

The house was no longer a home.

It was a battlefield containment zone.

Brother 1 moved fast.

"Left side breached!"

Brother 2 responded instantly.

"I've got it."

They weren't joking anymore.

They were trained.

🖤 Darian Unleashed (true feared form)

Darian moved.

And everything slowed around him.

Not physically.

But in perception.

Every attacker who entered didn't last long enough to understand what happened.

He didn't waste motion.

He didn't hesitate.

He removed threats.

One after another.

Efficient. Cold. Absolute.

The legend people feared outside—

was now real inside the walls.

🌸 Lina's Hidden Reaction

From behind cover, Lina watched.

But instead of fear…

there was something else.

Recognition.

Like something inside her responded to his presence.

The system in her body—whatever it was—stabilized.

The pressure outside… weakened.

As if Darian being near her was actively anchoring her existence.

⚡ Mother's Final Message

Outside the chaos…

the woman finally spoke into a secure channel:

"She is fully responsive now."

Pause.

Then:

"And he is anchoring her."

A subordinate asked:

"What do we do?"

The woman closed her eyes.

"…We stop calling it retrieval."

She opened them again.

Cold.

Final.

"We end the anchor."

🖤 Ending Scene (shift becomes irreversible)

Inside the house…

silence returned.

Not peace.

Aftermath.

Darian stood in the center of broken space.

Breathing steady.

Blood on his sleeve—not his.

Brother 1 leaned against a wall.

"…Okay. That was officially too much."

Brother 2 looked at Darian.

"You realize this escalates from here, right?"

Darian didn't answer.

Because he already knew.

Behind him, Lina walked closer.

Slowly.

Carefully.

She grabbed his sleeve again.

"…You didn't leave."

Darian looked down at her.

"…I said I wouldn't."

Lina nodded.

Then smiled softly.

"Good."

And in that moment—

the world outside marked them both as targets.

Not because of power.

But because something far more dangerous had formed.

Attachment.
