The body of the limbed serpent stood where it had been slain, blood shooting out of its neck while its hands clawed slowly at the spot its head had once been, like it was attempting to verify whether or not it was actually dead.
It took an unsteady step forwards and then two steps back before Valentina gently pushed it forwards again, sending it sprawling across the grass as its limbs finally gave out, leaving it to twitch a few more times as it finally registered its death.
