Tiara's words echoed in her ears as Thalia's gaze wandered around the bedroom that was now… apparently—hers.
It was bigger, she admitted.
But not by much.
Her room back home wasn't exactly small either, so the size didn't impress her as much as it probably should have.
What did bother her… Was the atmosphere.
The entire room felt… dull.
The colors were muted, almost lifeless, like whoever designed it had no intention of making it feel warm, let alone comfortable.
It didn't feel like a bedroom.
It felt like a place people stayed in—Not lived in.
Thalia let out a small breath, her fingers brushing lightly against the fabric of her dress as she stood there, suddenly unsure of what she was supposed to do next.
This was supposed to be her wedding night.
