Thalia smiled brightly the moment she spotted William standing ahead. Her steps instantly became lighter as she hurried toward him.
But just as she was about to call his name, her movements slowly stopped.
"I promise," William said warmly, "I'll bring both of you to meet her properly soon."
At that moment, Thalia's eyes shifted toward the two people standing in front of him.
Elijah and beside him, a young woman who looked to be around twenty years old.
The woman tilted her head slightly while looking at William curiously.
"So she is the woman who made you fall in love?" she muttered softly before glancing toward Elijah beside her. "I never thought someone like William could actually love someone that much…"
William looked down briefly before smiling faintly. "Hm… a cute little fox."
The woman's eyes instantly widened. "You really found her?"
William frowned slightly in confusion. "What do you mean?"
The woman immediately laughed softly and covered her mouth.
