William slowly pulled his hand away from underneath Thalia's head carefully.
Almost an hour had passed before she finally fell back asleep again.
The entire time, she had been restlessly moving around in his embrace, turning left and right as if she couldn't get comfortable no matter what he did.
Only after confirming she had finally fallen asleep again, William slowly reached toward the bedside table and grabbed his phone.
Then immediately, he dialed Tiara's number.
The moment the call connected, he lowered his voice and informed her, "She forgot me."
"What?" Tiara sounded completely confused from the other side of the call. "You mean… she forgot you the moment she woke up?"
"Hm." William answered quietly while glancing toward Thalia, who now looked completely calm in her sleep.
"She said she doesn't remember me…" His brows slowly furrowed afterward. "But she didn't look anxious about it."
William lowered his voice even more. "She was too calm…"
