The restaurant was full of customers. Plates of food kept coming out from the kitchen, one after another, to be served to the guests. Yu Qi was one of the waitresses attending to the customers, moving efficiently between the tables.
Outside the restaurant, Madam Wang and Wang Fu Ya prepared themselves before entering. Tonight's plan had to succeed. Both of them exchanged confident smiles. They firmly believed that their plan would work. That bitch would not escape their accusations, and in the end, they would get the money.
"Where is Yu Qi? I want to see her!" Madam Wang's loud voice rang out, causing the once noisy restaurant to fall into sudden silence.

"Return the money that you stole!" Madam Wang immediately accused her.
Yu Qi's expression did not change at all. Her face remained calm and indifferent, as if Madam Wang's accusation meant nothing to her.
"Do you hear me? Return our money!" Madam Wang repeated loudly.
"Your money? What money?" Yu Qi asked, still trying to understand their intention.
"You stole our money and still dare to ask what money? You little bitch!" Madam Wang began to curse at her.
"Mother, calm down. We are here just to ask Yu Qi to return our money, that's all. I don't want Mum to get sick because of anger." Wang Fu Ya said as she gently rubbed her mother's back. Then she turned to Yu Qi and continued, "Sis, please return the money you stole from us. Our father and sister are injured. We need the money to bring them for treatment."
"As I said, what money? I did not steal anything. Why are you accusing me when I have already left your house?" Yu Qi replied calmly, though inwardly she was beginning to piece together their plan.
"Mum kept some money for emergencies in a certain place. She said only you knew about it because she told you. Even I do not know where it is." Wang Fu Ya said, putting on a pitiful expression. She paused deliberately, acting convincingly. "Today, our father and sister got injured. Mum went to get the money but found that it was already missing. She had not checked it for a long time. So, we think..."
"So, you all think I stole it." Yu Qi finished for her, letting out a cold, icy laugh while staring directly into Wang Fu Ya's eyes.
Wang Fu Ya instantly shivered. It felt as if Yu Qi had completely seen through their plan. However, she could not back down now. This plan had to succeed no matter what.
"And then, you think I left your house because I stole your money." Yu Qi continued, exposing the rest of their scheme.
Wang Fu Ya's expression flickered for a brief moment, but she quickly recovered. Unfortunately for her, Yu Qi had already noticed it.
"Please, Sis... return the money to us. Father and sister really need it." Wang Fu Ya said as she forced herself to cry.
"Then may I know how much money I supposedly stole from you?" Yu Qi asked. It sounded like a normal question, but it gave Wang Fu Ya an uneasy feeling.
Madam Wang, however, did not notice anything strange. The greed in her eyes was obvious. She quickly answered.
"One thousand." Madam Wang said, her voice carrying a hint of excitement.
Wang Fu Ya frowned inwardly. 'This plan might be ruined by Mum.' She could not let that happen. However, Yu Qi's next response completely surprised her.
"Alright. Wait for a moment. I will go upstairs and get it." Yu Qi said before turning and walking upstairs.
Everyone in the restaurant was stunned. Did that mean Yu Qi had really stolen the money from her former foster family? Madam Wang felt extremely pleased.
The plan had succeeded. That bitch had no choice but to comply. Madam Wang turned to look at her daughter proudly. 'My daughter is very clever.'
However, Wang Fu Ya felt a strange sense of unease. Something did not feel right. Yu Qi had surrendered too easily, without even trying to defend herself.

Madam Wang handed the document to Wang Fu Ya. Wang Fu Ya began reading it carefully. The document stated that Yu Qi would give them 10,000, but only this once. If the Wang Family tried to demand money from her again in the future, Yu Qi had the right to refuse and could take legal action. They were required to sign below if they agreed.
However, the two of them only focused on the amount—10,000. It was a huge sum of money.
Without hesitation, Wang Fu Ya urged her mother to sign the document quickly, afraid that Yu Qi might change her mind. Madam Wang signed it and handed it back to Yu Qi.
Yu Qi glanced at their expressions. They looked like eager dogs waiting for their master's reward. She then took the small envelope and handed it to Madam Wang.
"You can go to that room and count the money. If you count it here, someone might try to steal it." Yu Qi said softly, leaning slightly toward Wang Fu Ya.
Wang Fu Ya nodded and pulled her mother along. They went into the room that Yu Qi had pointed out. Once inside, they opened the envelope and saw the money inside. Both of them smiled immediately.
"Mum, I told you. That bitch is very rich now. She can give this amount of money so easily. She might have even more." Wang Fu Ya whispered excitedly. "Do not count it. Just tell her it is enough. Once the money is already with us, we can say that the amount is not correct. Then we can get even more money from her."
In her excitement, she completely forgot about the agreement they had just signed. After that, they came out, preparing to leave.
