Third-person POV
The shopping trip of the MPC parliamentary attendants was nice and a bit wild. They checked the prices for the best deals available. Juan, Aydan, Aias, Hafid, and Cisco listed what they had bought, with Juan making sure to pack a reserved batch in a box in the Balikbayan box way for Tolentino West when he arrives home once the crisis in Japan is over. Aydan was trying new kimonos in different colors while María José did a similar thing with another set of colorful kimonos on sale. Cisco tried a few authentic Japanese snacks, while Juan sampled some mochi in different colorful flavors.
By 12:50 p.m., the multinational parliamentary entourage went to the JSDF headquarters for their multicultural meal with Motoi, the JSDF, Rory, and the MPC leaders and agents. It was on time when the next rotation of 10-MPC-agents-from-each-MPC-nation happened, and the batch that did their duties in the Special Region stepped out of the Ginza gate and went to the JSDF headquarters by JSDF Humvees. Once Hafid, Aydan, Oguz, Paul, Ismail and the other MPC intelligence agency operators who were Muslims finished their obligatory midday Muslim prayers at an empty hall, everyone gathered in the headquarters' mess hall for the feast. After Boaz led and said his Christian Baptist prayer for the meal and said "Itadakimasu", everyone grabbed what they want to eat and ate up. "You know," Motoi said to the MPC leaders and their parliamentary attendants, "I think I would be cornered by the Big Three if one of you didn't discover their conspiracy on the gate."
"That's true, sir," replied Ferdinand Rizal while readjusting his green hair, "the NBI and I had taken the ILOVEU computer virus from the 2000s, tweaked it a bit, and used it to hack the dirty conspiracy files of the CIA, SVR, and MSS, all undetected."
"Wow." Motoi chuckled while taking a bite of his shawarma with pork and vegetables. "That was quite clever."
"Indeed," Leo said with a soft smirk, "the NBI were wondering which harmless secured file they should look at and walk away, but they ended up hitting a jackpot. It was them who compiled the files into the metaphorical prophetic name "Hakaze Inn Conspiracy."
"I can't believe these Big Three jerks just hacked into my digital agenda for that day!" Itami interjected. "Good thing you guys used the clue for a title for a dossier."
"These Big Three jerks are super greedy…" Kuribayashi sighed while taking a sip of her Greek frappé."
"Greed is a bottomless pit, Kuribayashi-san," Boaz said while his green vestment, cross necklace, and black suit was folded neatly on a table nearby. "The spoiled elite felt what they had is never enough, and it will never be enough."
"Indeed, sim," Cisco responded while eating his Greek Spanakorizo and a small serving of his own Bife a Rolê meats. "In my theory, these prompted their big governments to look at the Special Region for resources and more money."
Slamming his fist on the wooden table, Leo responded, "Yes! Oo nga! I was quite pissed off when Ferdinand handed that dossier to me in the Malacañang Palace one afternoon. That's when I launched Operation: Crusades and called in six nations through a video call for help."
"Indeed, evet," Oguz responded while reaching for a simit and a next second serving of a pandesal bread, "and my Turkish MİT agents remarked how this operation was the first time they embarked in an adventure, both here in Japan and in the Special Region across the gate."
"Yeah, it was!" Mavi added. "It was quite fun there, and some JSDF soldiers even suggested an exchange of combat using wooden targets so we could show off our skills as operators from our respective nations."
"Hmm…" Hazama replied, "…that would be great and so my soldiers would get to know how you guys fight in your own homelands."
"Yes, Hazama-san," replied the Indonesian BIN agent Buana Lestari while readjusting her purple and yellow hijab. "We will do our best in our demonstration."
"Yes, po, sir!" James interjected.
After that, as the drinks came in, Kuribayashi said to Rory that she didn't need to intimidate the delegation of the three superpowers with her dark words at the Tokyo summit hall. "Aww, you're no fun!" Rory pouted. "I wanted to teach these human jerks a lesson on greed and crossing boundaries!"
"Yes, you were a bit too scary, Mrs. Mercury," Paul replied.
"Man, like hell you were!" Hafid added.
"It is okay, Sergeant Kuribayashi," Motoi said to Kuribayashi, "I appreciated Rory's compliment of the aid the MPC had given to us."
The meal was fun.
