Just as Victor Morgan reached the doctor's office, he saw a nurse shouting for the doctor on duty, saying a patient on the seventh floor had a sudden emergency and needed immediate medical attention.
Victor Morgan didn't think much of it until he heard the doctor on duty ask, "Give me a report on the patient's condition first."
The nurse hurriedly replied, "The patient is Sylvia Schuyler, twenty-eight years old. She suffered a severe blow to the head two months ago and has been experiencing dizziness for the past few days. She was admitted today. Our preliminary diagnosis is a cerebral hemorrhage, but we can't get in touch with her family."
Victor Morgan couldn't help but wonder if this was some cruel twist of fate, for such a thing to happen the moment he stepped out.
